In my 2+ years with Suncor Energy, a Canadian integrated energy company that produces crude oil from oil sands. I support the bi-annual Major Maintenance events for the Turnaround Business Unit at the BasePlant site in Fort McMurray, AB.

Long-Range Planning

I work with business units to develop the 10-year strategic plan for major maintenance events, finalize the budget and ensure capital funds are in approved for execution.

Project Controls

I gathered and analyzed data to aid the overall goals of the turnaround event by tracking the actuals against the budget, forecasting, monitoring and reporting outcome data.
